2021 Le Glanon Jura Trousseau
From: Jura, France
Textbook Trousseau from arguably the most in-demand natural wine region on earth! Here, the nose is fruity, with a hint of funk (think forest floor, mushroom and pine), and the palate juicy, high-ish in acidity and packed full of strawberry, raspberry and even a little juniper. The wine is delicate and pretty yet finishes fine and mineral. Seriously delicious Jura red.
2021 Vino di Anna 'Jeudi 15' Etna Bianco
From: Mt Etna, Sicily
A new cuvée from Vino di Anna, Jeudi 15 Bianco is an intriguing blend of white grapes, hand-harvested from numerous small vineyards high on the north face of Mt Etna. Mid straw in colour, the dominant nose is fresh citrus and a whisper of florals. Dry, crisp and fresh on the palate with lemon and grapefruit, subtle nuttiness and an underlying salty minerality on the finish.
2021 Lauren Langfield Merlot
From: Adelaide Hills, Australia
Delicious single-vineyard Merlot made in a light, bright style. With a hint of carbonic fermentation on the nose, the overt ripe berries and pomegranate notes are supported by plum, vanilla and the tell-tale Australian Eucalyptus. Tannins are slightly crunchy, but fine and ripe, giving length and generosity. Can be served slightly chilled.
2022 La Parrilla 'El Pinto' Palomino
From: Andalusia, Spain
Made from the Palomino grape (most commonly used to produce Sherry) this is a super fresh, vibrant and expressive wine of real character. Bursting with green apple, citrus, white floral notes, with a nice saline finish. This is one of those 'next big thing' wines sure to explode in popularity over the coming years. Get in early!
2023 Salamandre Orange Grenache Gris
From: Costières de Nîmes, France
Delicious orange wine made from white Southern Rhône variety Grenache Gris. Incredible colour from just 10 days on skins. Bursting with floral notes alongside summer stonefruit and a hint of the tropics. Almost too easy!
2022 Vino di Anna 'Palmento' Etna Rosso
From: Sicily, Italy
Begging for a chill, this is a light and juicy Nerello Mascalese blend grown on the slopes of Mt Etna. Pronounced fruit intensity of great Etna red: cherries, brambly wild raspberry, macerated strawberries, blood orange. There are floral notes, along with distinctive minerality indicative of the volcanic terroir. Acidity is present and well-integrated, the finish is persistent and refreshing. An absolute staff favourite.
