The La Famille & La Famiglia wines are a family of wines chosen from all around the world that best represent their region, style or variety.

Selected, imported and distributed by wine importers & distributors Wine Diamonds (est. 2015), these wines all have two threads in common: quality and price.

Here we have a mixed case of 12 bottles, containing:

5x La Famille Bourgogne Blanc Chardonnay (France)
From Burgundy, France, this wine has all the classic hallmark traits of classic white Burgundy. It presents as pale gold in colour with aromas of ripe pear, white peach and citrus. The palate is concentrated, juicy and round, with citrus and stone fruits and a touch of creaminess. The oak is well-integrated in both aroma and flavour. A crisp, fine line of acidity with a clean, mineral finish.

5x La Famiglia Pinot Grigio (Australia)
Here we have a dry, refreshing, yet fruitful Pinot Grigio from Murray Darling - a dry, arid area of Australia in which Italian varieties seem to thrive - presenting as an aromatic white with a light, mineral, crisp finish. Stimulating drinking, perfect for the summer time! (We recommend Pinot Grigio if you prefer drier style of Pinot Gris).

2x La Famiglia Montepulciano d'Abruzzo (Italy)
This wine is from Popoli, a small commune in Abruzzo which is on the Eastern side of Italy. Presenting itself as a bloody delicious, easy-drinking red, this Montepulciano offers all its hallmark traits: black fruits, cherry, cranberry, leather and spice. The wine is a dark, dense purple colour in the glass and has incredible concentration of flavour. Its tannins are rustic and easy-going and the wines finish is reassuringly long - very limited stock!
