Castilla Armado Reserva Tempranillo
An old-school Spanish classic, this Tempranillo shows off the benefits of both time in barrel and time in bottle. 2016 vintage. Reserva. Aromas of dried cherry, black plum, and fig unfurl alongside warm notes of cedar, vanilla, and sweet tobacco. Hints of leather, clove and spice to add complexity.
On the palate, it’s juicy yet structured, with fine-grained tannins and a gentle acidity that keeps the richness in check. Flavours of berry compôte and christmas cake lead into a savoury, evolved finish with a touch of cocoa and sandalwood.
Elegant, layered, complex, this is an old world classic red with depth, warmth and a confident sense of place. Served at a number of our favourite Auckland restaurants. This wine is full of soul.

La Famille Bourgogne Blanc Chardonnay
From Burgundy, France. This wine has all the classic hallmark traits of classic white Burgundy. It presents as pale gold in colour with aromas of ripe pear, white peach and citrus. The palate is concentrated, juicy and round, with citrus and stone fruits and a touch of creaminess. The oak is well-integrated in both aroma and flavour. A crisp, fine line of acidity with a clean, mineral finish.
La Famille Brut
La Famille ("The Family") Wines are a handpicked family of wines from across the globe, chosen for their ability to express variety, style and region. In the mix you’ll find classics like a Bourgogne Blanc (White Burgundy - Chardonnay), a rustic Montepulciano from Abruzzo, and very soon, a textural Chenin Blanc from Vouvray. These are wines with story, structure and soul, and all serve as benchmarks in their category.
For this release, importers and distributors Wine Diamonds have unearthed a special parcel of Marlborough Riesling, grown sustainably on a unique patchwork of deep clay and alluvial river stones. It’s this tension between the full-bodied clay and the mineral-rich stones that gives the wine palate weight, aromatics and acidity — an ideal foundation for sparkling Riesling.
This is a Brut sparkling — that is to say it is dry - but this is far from lean or austere. Expect a wine that balances richness with refreshment: aromas of lemon verbena, grapefruit pith and orange blossom flow from the glass, while the palate is crisp, fine-boned, and zippy. There’s a lovely citrus edge and a clean, salivating finish that keeps you coming back for more. Light on its feet but with serious intent — this is sparkling with poise, charm, and serious drinkability.
Lauren Langfield Sauvignon Blanc
From South Australia. A richer, textural style of Sauvignon Blanc more akin to Sancerre or Loire Valley styles.
Le Glanon Jura Chardonnay

Les Bardets 'Blanc' Mauzac Blend
From Gaillac, France. It's a white wine variety with flavours of honeysuckle and citrus. Loin de l'œil is another native variety, but generally hails from the Loire, a little further north. Luscious, textural stonefruit.
Les Bardets 'Rouge' Braucol Blend
From Gaillac, France. Inky and dark in the glass, the aroma is incredibly rich and filling. Blackberry, cassis and plum. Soft and chalky, but present tannins. Great persistence of flavour and moreish too. As the label suggests this is a red you can pour yourself a big glass of and enjoy on its own or with any meal.

There’s some alchemy at play here, with the dominant morello cherry notes lifted effortlessly by the three white aromatic varieties. For grape nerds this is akin to a Loire Grolleau; light and fresh, fruit and spicy, thirst quenching and invigorating. Chill it down, sip it back, enjoy the ride..

Park Wine Rosé
Park Rosé is field blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Gewürztraminer. This one is all from Jos’s vineyard in Nelson. Provence-pink but a lot more adventurous than your typical pale pink drop. Front-loaded with fresh raspberries, cherry soda, even a few hints of woody spice, musk and a good lick of acidity to boot. Endless options to pair this one with food.
Park Wine White
Park White is a modern, almost avant-garde approach to the classic white blends more commonly seen in the old world. Intended to be equal parts light, rich, refreshing and textural. It’s crisp, aromatic and a little wild. This is Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer. Easy to drink, hard to put down.

Deep, vibrant purple-red in the glass; abundant dark blackberry, plum, and black cherry on the nose. Medium-bodied, with luscious dark fruits, chocolate amaro, and a persistent pink pepper, clove and eucalyptus finish. Rich in flavour, supple, velvety tannins and a refreshing acidity to finish - a nice departure from the boring, low-acid Shiraz that Australia sometimes cops a bad reputation for.
