Champagne Vincent Couche 'Chardonnay de Montgueux' Blanc de Blancs

A beautifully rich, delicate Blanc de Blancs from the chalky soils of Montgueux, a hilltop village in the South of Champagne near Troyes. 

Vincent Couche ("Van-sohnt coosh") is an independent vigneron-grower Champagne producer, that is, he grows his own fruit for his own production, unlike the majority of Champagne which is sourced from growers. Couche is certified organic, and his wines speak with a purity and mineral drive not often found in the dialled up, often heavily oaked or overtly sweet, grand marques such as Moët or Veuve.
