Ockhee Chilled Red, a delicious new collaboration with one of our favourite Korean restaurants Ockhee.
A chilled red made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah - all hand harvested from two BioGro certified organic vineyards in Hawke's Bay and made by Dan Gillett (Wine Diamonds/Selection Massale/Terroir Project/Park Wine/Paradise Prosecco, to name a few!)
The wine is super aromatic, with red fruits and citrus on the nose, and the palate is bright, super juicy and dry with a slightly savoury finish. The wine has balance, tension and a depth of flavour. Dan would tell you it's his best chilled red yet and we would agree.
Organic. Wild fermented. Unfiltered. Unfined. Minimal sulphites added. Well made and stable - pours well over a couple days.
Served chilled by the glass at Ockhee or available by the bottle from Everyday Wine too.
