2023 Brood Fermentation 'Pollen' White Blend

The new 2023 Pollen is here! This time a 50/50 Chardonnay/Riesling blend from Weka vineyard, Moutere, Nelson.

Showcasing the predominantly golden clay soils of Moutere, Brood have again turned out a fantastic white blend with plenty of texture, phenolic drive and mouth-watering acidity.

Aged in a combination of French barriques, large format oak and steel tanks, there's stonefruit and citrus on the nose and palate, a nice touch of spice, with a creamy, generous texture and mineral backbone.

A crowd-pleaser in the best way, and a great match for shellfish!
