A serious, seriously drinkable Chardonnay from one of Marlborough's most accomplished winemaking families.
The grapes here are carefully selected from Seresin's organic Raupo vineyard, wild-fermented, and spend several months in seasoned French oak, with full malolactic fermentation and intermittent stirring of lees.
There is striking grapefruit and citrus zest intensity on first approach - followed by bouyant stonefruit, apple, and a persistent and complex toasty, nutty, creamy finish.
Pair with fish pate or garlic and lemon-sauced pasta.
Drinking well now but would cellar well to reveal further complexity.
