From the forward-thinking Setaro family, a textural and concentrated expression of Piedirosso. Organically grown in the volcanic soils of Mount Vesuvius DOC, hand-picked and aged in a combination of amphora and French oak.
Fresh and intense cherry and raspberry, sage, lit cigar, a touch of spice and distinctive pencil-shaving minerality are carried on earthy tannins. Powerful and persistent finish, very agreeable.
