2025 Ancient Ways 'Pinot x Syrah' Chilled Red

'Ancient Ways' is the evolution of Marlborough natural wine brand that was once called Native & Ancient. Now led by local winemaker (and artist) Tom Flaherty, we have their new 2025 pétillant naturel (bottle-fermented) Sauvignon Blanc and here, their chilled red blend made from Pinot Noir & Syrah.

"With the aromatics of Crushed Raspberry and Strawberries this marriage of Organic Marlborough Pinot noir and Syrah brings a playful take on a red wine. The aromatics are lifted and delicate which continue to reveal juicy refreshing flavours of Raspberry, Cherries, strawberries and dried herbs on the palate. The wine is elegant and refreshing with good acidity complemented with a hint of sweetness coming from the carbonic maceration winemaking technique to produce this early drinking Red wine style. Best served lightly chilled with a group of friends."
