With 'Les Survivants' - literally meaning 'The Survivors', Ganevat presents a pure Chardonnay made from vines that seem to be hit more and more every year by spring frosts. Thus the grapes 'surviving' from this disaster which are vinified here.

The Chardonnay is straight and fleshy, while being very, very concentrated (one of the beneficial effects of frost). The complex and finely aromatic palette shows juicy white fruits (apple, pear) but also sublime notes of candied citrus fruits and a bouquet of white flowers. Everything is supported by a delicate but present mineral framework.

A powerful and delicate wine, drinking well now through to 2027.
