In the heart of the Condrieu appellation and in the northernmost part of Saint Joseph, the Monteillet estate has overlooking the Northern Rhône valley for 9 generations. Passionate about vines and wines, Stéphane Montez wants to be in harmony with his terroir as well as his team. After numerous international experiences, he returned to bring a unique touch to the family estate, aware of the unique character of the Rhône valley terroir.
In the cellar, the estate works mainly by gravity, and carries out aging in demi-muids (600 liter barrels) which can last up to more than 40 months for certain vintages.
