And back for the first time in five years is Pink Fizz!.... A while ago Gareth went right off pet nats, feeling they fell victim to a trend that he didn't want to be a part of... anyway, we pestered him ever since to make another one, and this year, on the promise that we took the whole amount, he agreed! Just our luck, it turned out so good he decided to keep some for himself and his mailing list customers too! It's 100% Pinot Noir, dry, fruitful, and just bloody delicious.

Vineyards: Monomeith & Scary Gully

Winemaking notes: Vintage 2021 was perfect and bountiful! We decided to do some very late season thinning out of some fruit in Monomeith and Scary Gully to open up the canopy and fruit-zone to minimize any botrytis pressure (it was a late and cool season). The fruit was picked in the cool morning before being direct pressed into 225L barriques for fermentation. The fermented wine was racked into tank and some late season juice was added in for the sugar component before the wine was bottled and laid to rest for a few months to finish its bottle fermentation and be released to the world.
