100% Premier Cru Pinot Noir from the 'Les Clos Roussots' plot in Maranges, a relatively newly-formed appellation in Burgundy, which is just Southwest of Saint-Aubin (where Domaine Derain and Sextant are based). 

Organically farmed, hand harvested, approximately 80% whole bunch Pinot Noir which has been pressed after 15 days maceration then matured in aged French oak barrique for 12 months. Unfiltered, unfined.

This wine is full bodied, fruit laden and carries the weight from the brown limestone and marl soils which Maranges is known for. An incredible reflection of site and soil.
