How It Drinks: Fun, Fresh, Light, and Fruity
Winemaking Style: Progressive

15 Minute Bottles is an up and coming New Zealand label produced by winemakers Thomas Lascelles, Anne Kirsch, David Collins and Lana Kennett. Tom and his partner  Anne are based in Central Otago and David and his partner Lana are based in North Canterbury. They all met when working for Austrian natural wine legend Claus Preisinger, and saw an opportunity to make wines together in New Zealand when they would return back home to each pursue their own winemaking careers. Their intention is to make wines in both regions, adhering to the low-intervention, natural winemaking techniques they have honed along the way.

'15 Minute Bottles' is an inside-joke referencing a great bottle of wine, which would be fun, energetic and thought-provoking but would never last long enough.

This is the second iteration of Test Pots, which is 15 Minute Bottles' Central Otago Pinot Noir. From a certified organic vineyard on the Pisa Range near Cromwell, the fruit was hand harvested, 80% whole bunch fermented for two weeks, wild-fermented in stainless steel before being racked to aged French oak for maturation. Unfiltered, unfined, minimal added sulphites, this is a light bodied, fruit-forward, fun expression of Central Otago. Can be served chilled too!
